1. Mileage Allowance
Each standard daily rental includes a mileage allowance of 100 miles per day. Six (6) hour rentals include 50 free miles. Any mileage exceeding the applicable limit will be subject to an overage charge of $0.45 per mile, which may be deducted from the renter’s security deposit or charged separately if necessary.
2. Fuel Policy
All vehicles are provided with a specified fuel level at the commencement of the rental period. Renters are required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as provided at checkout. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than provided, a refueling fee of $40 plus the cost of fuel may be assessed.
3. Minimum Age Requirement
All renters must be at least 25 years of age at the time of rental. Sling City Rentals reserves the right to verify age and driver eligibility at its sole discretion. No exceptions will be made.
4. Vehicle Condition
The renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear. The renter shall be held liable for all damages, loss, or theft occurring during the rental period, regardless of cause, and is responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement.
5. Accident Reporting Requirement
In the event of an accident, the renter is required to notify Sling City Rentals immediately or as soon as safely possible. Additionally, the renter must file a report with the appropriate law enforcement agency and provide Sling City Rentals with a written incident report, including a description of the event and any relevant documentation.
6. Late Return Policy
A 30-minute grace period is allowed for late returns. Returns between 31 and 90 minutes after the scheduled return time will incur a charge equal to 50% of the applicable daily rental rate. Any return exceeding 90 minutes late will incur a full additional day rental charge based on whether the return falls on a weekday or weekend rate.
7. Geographic Restrictions
Vehicles rented from Sling City Rentals may not be taken outside the state of Florida. If a vehicle is found to have crossed state lines, it will be deemed unauthorized use and may be reported stolen. Violation of this clause shall result in automatic forfeiture of the renter’s security deposit. Sling City Rentals reserves the right to pursue legal action in such cases.
8. Right to Repossess
Sling City Rentals reserves the right to immediately repossess any vehicle without notice if it is determined that the vehicle is being used in violation of any terms of this agreement or is otherwise being misused. Violation of this clause may result in automatic forfeiture of the renter’s security deposit.
9. Tolls, Fines, and Violations
The renter is solely responsible for all tolls, traffic citations, parking tickets, and other violations incurred during the rental period. Sling City Rentals may charge the renter’s card on file or deduct from the security deposit for any unpaid tolls or fines.
10. Taxes and Fees
The renter is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, including but not limited to Florida sales tax, which shall be added to the total rental charges at the time of booking or payment.
11. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of $200 is required at the time of rental. This deposit shall be held to cover any potential damages, fuel charges, mileage overages, cleaning fees, tolls, violations, or other costs incurred during the rental. The unused portion of the deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory return of the vehicle.
12. Cleaning Fee
If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty or unsanitary condition, as determined solely by Sling City Rentals, a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged to the renter.
13. Hold Harmless and Indemnification
The renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sling City Rentals, its owners, agents, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, injuries, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to the renter’s use of the rental vehicle, including without limitation any negligent, reckless, or intentional acts by the renter or any third party operating the vehicle with the renter’s permission.
14. No-Show / Deposit Forfeiture
If Renter fails to appear on the scheduled pickup date and time without prior written cancellation approved by Owner, the $200.00 deposit shall be automatically forfeited in full.
15.No Insurance Provided – Renter Solely Responsible
Owner provides no insurance coverage of any kind. Renter is 100% financially responsible for all damages, injuries, claims, losses, or liabilities arising from use of the vehicle, including but not limited to bodily injury, death, property damage, third-party claims, government fines, traffic violations, and legal fees.
16.Assumption of Risk
Renter acknowledges that operating a three-wheel motorcycle-type vehicle involves inherent risk, including serious injury or death. Renter voluntarily assumes all such risks.
17.Release of Liability & Waiver of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Renter releases and discharges Owner from all claims arising out of vehicle use, including alleged negligence, except for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
18.Indemnification / Third-Party Claims
Renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Owner from any third-party claims or lawsuits arising from renter’s use. This obligation survives termination of the rental agreement.
19.Damage & Financial Responsibility
Renter is responsible for all vehicle damage, diminished value, towing, storage, mechanical damage, tire damage, interior damage, and excessive wear. Owner’s repair estimate shall be presumed valid unless proven otherwise. Violation of this clause may result in automatic forfeiture of the renter’s security deposit.
20.Driver Eligibility
Only the renter listed may operate the vehicle. Minimum age: 25. Valid driver’s license required. No additional drivers permitted. Violation of this clause shall result in automatic forfeiture of the renter’s security deposit.
21.Prohibited Use
The vehicle may NOT be used under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for racing, stunts, reckless driving, off-road use, burnouts, drifting, or by unauthorized drivers. Violation of this clause voids the agreement, renter assumes full liability, and the renter’s security deposit shall be automatically forfeited.
22.Vehicle Condition & Evidence
Pre- and post-rental photos and videos constitute binding evidence of the vehicle’s condition.
23.Governing Law & Venue
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the county where Owner resides.
